Stereomantic is Aksara Records' latest release, a duo consist of Aroel (of Planetbumi, Vessel) and Maria (of Klarinet) in vocals. Supposedly the name was an acronym of stereo and romantic. Oke deh.
Their music is a combination of indiepop with electronic. If you once loved the band called The Cardigans, you might find their music very, very familiar. Such as in the songs bellow, I got the audial de javu when I first heard it, and until now I still feel like I've heard the song somewhere...
With the release of their debut album, I would expected more from these talented and resourceful duo. It is nice, but i think they could do better than just be a mediocre.
